| | 2. 1ST ANNUAL TURQUOISE MEET (GREEN & BLUE TEAMS) - 10/05/2008 | There are a number of New Families on the GREEN & BLUE TEAMS this season, the Coaches of the GREEN & BLUE TEAMS are going to run a meet this Friday, October 10th so that the parents and swimmers can get the jitters out before the first official swim meet.
When – Friday, October 10, 2008
Time – 5:15-7:30pm
Where – St. Charles North High School Pool
The goal of the meet is to learn what is expected at a meet and the parents can learn how to work some of the jobs at a meet.
Time Line
Warm-Up – 5:15-5:45pm
Meet Starts – 5:45pm
Party – 6:50-7:30pm
After the meet is over, the swimmers can enjoy some dry time with their friends and eat some pizza at the same time. We encourage everyone from both Groups to attend. The leadership of the veteran families will be needed to help teach the new families about a swim meet. Please invite family members like Grandma and Grandpa (it will be a quick meet).
If you have not received a flyer for the meet please contact Coach Denise so that she can get a head count of swimmers.

| | 3. 2008 ST. CHARLES SCARECROW FEST - 10/04/2008 - Scarecrow_Fest_2008_Brochure.pdf | What are you doing this weekend? Why not visit the St. Charles Swim Team Booth at this year’s Scarecrow Fest, located in Lot #2 next to the VFW, Petting Zoo and Model Railroad Exhibit. The booth will be great publicity for Aquatics and what it offers our Community and Highlight the Great achievements of our swimmers. It also gives our swimmers a sense of community involvement and pride in Our Team! Come Out and support SCST by volunteering to help at the booth. Additional details and a sign up sheet have been posted in the lobby of the Norris Rec. Center. Please contact Carla Summers with any questions.

| | 4. CALLING ALL SCST SWIMMERS (AGE GROUP & SENIOR) TEAM BOWLING PARTY - 10/03/2008 | ALL AGE GROUP and SENIOR SWIMMERS ARE INVITED to the SCST Bowling Party at the St. Charles Bowl, Sunday, November 2nd, 2008, from 11:45am to 2:00pm.
The cost per swimmer is $12.50, which includes shoe rental, 2 games of bowling, pizza and drinks.
Registration Forms will be placed in the mailboxes this week. Please return completed forms to the SUMMERS Family Mailbox by Monday, October 20th.
